Abby Awe is a New York based actor, yogi and Leo. She hails from outside of Philadelphia on the border of farmlands where she started out as a devoted dancer and slowly found her way to acting. Her ethnic mash-up is a mystery to many but here it is: 50% Korean, 50% Italian/Irish mix.
Abby is a 2016 graduate from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she studied with the Atlantic Acting School and the Experimental Theatre Wing. Abby has performed in, choreographed and produced a handful of plays around New York City. Her latest endeavors include the critically acclaimed play Athena, a national Subway commercial and roles on Amazon’s The Tick and CBS’ God Friended Me.
Abby aspires to continue to tell stories on stage and screen that uplift others. She is passionate about equality in the work place and hopes to continue working on projects that give space to marginalized voices.
